How I Built a Treehouse
Started in April 2018
INSPIRING MY PARENTS TO BUILD THE TREEHOUSE
I used my imagination to come up with a plan with my parents.
They said “ yes” because it was inspiring because it would be fun for everyone.
THINKING AND BUILDiNG
We made the blueprints.
Me and my dad got the wood from Lowes.
We measured the tree and the wood.
We started to make the treehouse with the wood and a nail gun.
We made the floor.
We had to install the posts on the inside.
We cut the 2 limbs off the tree.
We put the posts for the roof on the tree.
We put the bridge on with the nail gun.
We put the siding on.
We put the plexiglass on.
And we built monkey bars, zipline, and the rockwall.
THE FUN PART
My neighbors play with us on the monkey bars.
We had a circus on the treehouse with my neighbors.
The whole family goes on the zipline a lot!
We are spending more time playing outside.
We put tables and stools up in the treehouse.
We read Harry Potter up there.
You can draw and write up there.
THE WISH LIST
1. I hope that we put something up so that you can’t see what’s holding up the siding on the outside.
2. I hope to paint the inside blue and the outside white.
